All raw data, including project annotation, generated by the consortium
will become publicly available six months after completion of
the project (beginning once the last hybridization in the project is
performed). These data will be housed within relational data structures
to allow for cross-comparisons with other experimental data. High
resolution phenotypic information will be made available with each
array to help the scientific community to establish useful expression
correlates. The complete project annotation in MAGE-ML, image files as
well as raw data files will be available for download. At the
time of publication, all data will be deposited into the NCBI-GEO
repository, while retaining links to the microarray consortium
relational data warehouse. All data within this repository will have
met stringent quality control standards.
Much of the expression data, and analysis of the data, have not
been published yet. Because of this, users of this site are encouraged
to mine and analyze the data. However, none of the unpublished data
available on this site may be used for the purpose of preparing a
manuscript for publication without the consent of the scientists who
have generated the data. All published data on the site can be used
without restriction. All other research uses of the data and
information, subject to the publication restriction described above,
are expressly permitted.
The consortium makes no representation
about the suitability or accuracy of these data for any purpose, and
makes no warranties, either expressed or implied, including
merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose or that the use
of this software or data will not infringe on any third party patents,
copyrights, trademarks, or other rights. The software and data are
provided “as is”. This software and data are provided to enhance
knowledge and encourage progress in the scientific community and are
to be used only for research and educational purposes. Any
reproduction or use for commercial purpose is prohibited without the
prior written permission of the consortium and the individual
extramural investigators.
